汉语不是很难
You may think that Chinese is a hard language to learn, maybe due to it's four tones and thousands of characters. But don't get fooled, Chinese is one of the easiest language to learn, here's why:
1- Almost non-existent grammar
Chinese has an extremely easy grammar to learn. Here's an example:
In chinese, verbs do not change forms at all. Where in english we say "I eat" and "He eats", chinese does this:
I eating, you eating, he eating.
我吃,你吃,他吃
"吃" isn't changing at all.
2- Easy to remember words
You may think that due to chinese characters all being unique, that it would be hard to remember them all. But it is uniqueness that makes it so easy to remember. For example, the first character anyone learns would be:
我
It means "I" or "Me".
Due to how much similar this chinese character is to the uppercase H, your brain gets it imprinted into your head, and your brain will remember the letter for you. Example, which one of these two is the character for I/Me ?
我 or 俄 ?
And you see, since your brain has never registered the character on the right, you unconciously know that it is an other character all together.
3- Pinyin
One thing you would get worried about, is how to pronounce the characters. But, it is easy to actually do, because each character is read in an easy to remember order: Consonent sound + Vowel sound. Pinyin helps you learn how to pronounce by using specific letters to communicate how to pronounce that letter.
For example, 我 is pronounced as wo3, wo with a lowering then upping tone.
And that concludes why Chinese is actually easy to learn.
