Epic Games Winter Sale Was A Flop?

Epic Games is an app where gamers can purchase games and get into contact with friends, and every year, they do a winter sale where they, as the name indicates ,do a sale for the winter, giving out a different game for free everyday, but this year people weren't satisfied.

The first games, as expected, were cheap, beginner studio games. Epic Games has a habit of taking advantages and helping small studios by pushing their games to the front. The audience weren't too disappointed at first, until a rumor rose about the 3rd day's game being Assassin's Creed Mirage, a game from a pretty well set and popular studio.an AAA (a game from a highly praised studio with a high budget and no need from outside financial help).

To everyone's surprise, Assassin's creed mirage never came, and instead came another indie game.

In the end, only a single AAA was released, "Control", which has been given out several times in recent years. Fans weren't happy.

Sure, it wasn't the only decently regarded game, however it was definitely the "best" of the bunch.

The sale concluded on January 3rd,with the last game being free until January 9th.

For many, this was a scam rather than a merry time.
